CEBR Activities
What does CEBR do?
CEBR enables its members to provide the best support possible to biotechnology companies in their region, directly enhancing the commercial and scientific operation of companies and their success on a global scale.
Activities within CEBR are based on direct company need, rather than 'top down' policy and all activities are designed to provide immediate benefit to biotechnology companies.
Most CEBR activities originate from the Special Interest Groups (SIGs) established for critical areas for biotechnology – i) Finance, ii) Business Development, iii) Incubation and iv) Human Resources and Training.
Activities include:
- SIG meetings – CEBR members and their biotechnology companies meet regularly to develop new services and partnerships or explore issues of relevance across Europe
- Submission of FP7 and CIP proposals through members for the development and launch of new services that can be disseminated through CEBR
- Development of a CEBR training directory
- Promotion of job vacancies across Europe, both at biotech co. and CEBR member level
- Promotion of partnering meetings held by each CEBR member – bringing biotechs together – doing business better
