The European Commission is about to launch its 2008 call for Competitiveness and Innovation Programme projects.
A key topic in 2008 is cooperation between clusters, with biotechnology listed as a key target sector and activities including training, internationalisation of SMEs and cooperation between clusters.
It is critical that CEBR members work to submit a proposal to this call – the network provides the best possible link between biotechnology clusters in Europe and this will provide a core of Members the opportunity to develop new services that can be implemented by ALL Members for the benefit of their biotechs.
This is central to CEBR’s role as a network – a successful project will benefit all biotechs in Europe and is part of our effort to defragment biotechnology in Europe. CEBR Members deliver services directly to SMEs and this is our opportunity to create new services that have a significant and direct benefit.
Venue will be confirmed to participants upon registration.

Each partner will be expected to lead key activities in the project and undertake significant writing in the proposal.
