Tools of Science Europe
Research excellence along the value chain - access to facilities, skills and advanced technologies
Supported by the ABCEurope project, CEBR is proud to promote the Tools of Science platform, launched by Stockholm Science City.
The online platform (www.toolsofscience.eu) has a comprehensive list of research facilities across Europe that can be searched or browsed to find the right advanced facility for technology development. At launch, over 200 facilities from 13 regions in Europe are involved and the platform aims to represent all clusters in Europe as it develops, supported actively by CRBR.
Users can search through keywords or categories such as region, phase of development or specific technology.
All facilities are open for access to SMEs and technologies are supported by the skilled teams that bring the best from advanced platforms.
Tools of Science also supports company development through listings of major funding programmes open to SMEs, plus all the multipliers and sources of assistance necessary to find partners and advice.
CEBR Members are encouraged to bring their own facilities for listing in the platform, as well as promoting it to SMEs within their cluster as a powerful tool to find the right technologies to advance their businesses.
"Reaching milestones in the development of young technologies strongly depends on finding the right service provider who meets the highly specialised requirements of biotech SMEs" says Horst Domdey, CEO of BioM Biotech Cluster Development in Munich.
Tools of Science will be promoted through the CEBR Shared Facilities SIG, with new regions join at each meeting - so get on board and bring your facilities to the whole of Europe.
